I have a set of TXs from an older Peavey Deuce... nothing wrong with them. I took some measurements and wrote them down. Would you pass on these in favor of a set of Twins TXs? I set a JJ 12AX7 in there for scale reference.

Look fine to my broadminded eyes. For 100W SSS, and perhaps slightly higher.
Power transfer measurements loaded or unloaded? If unloaded, might be worthwhile jerry-rigging dummy loads to get closer to the operating truth.
Best .. Ian

Re: Would you build an SSS with these?
check out my Wonderland John mayer thread build, I used a set of peavey triumph 100w transformers and the amp sounds amazing with them. So much so I've found another set from a deuce to build something else with
I've got 500v on my plates with them on a set of 4 JJ 6L6's.
I believe HAD also used peavey transformers in the odd build.

I will do that norburybrook, thanks...
I am reasonably sure that HAD used the TXs from a Peavey Mace for a 6x 6L6 SSS.

Re: Would you build an SSS with these?
Look at boldaslove6789's info (2nd post). He denotes Peavey TXs in a 150w version of the SSS. I remember reading elsewhere that they were from a Mace. Can't remember where... maybe others will chime in. Could be 4x 6550 though... I was just thinking 6x 6L6. I haven't really thought about whether HAD built them that way but the Mace is 6x 6L6.

Looks like:
Peavey Roadmaster for 150w 4x6550
Peavey Deuce for 100w 4x6L6GC

Aaron, apparently #177 was built with these TXs. Look at the second post by bluesbreaker62...
