If I ever build a HRM version that will be exactly what I would be doing. And I would put the internal tone pots of the OD tone stack on the front panel so that I can actually use them.

on the bluesmaster HRM the PAB is very nice and gets used on clean mode. With the OD it just takes it to another level!!

Personally I don't like having the controls readily available on the HRM, simple reason is you end up fiddling all the time.

Set and forget, and then get on with playing.
