CAD drawings

Post by Aurora »

Not that I'm particularly lazy, but I'm not much of a dude with Autocad, so was looking around to see if I could find a cad file for the ODS chassis....with no luck..
Are there any CAD chassis files posted, that I'm just unable to find???

I would also be interested in same please 🙏. Cost to ship a cabinet to South Africa is exorbitant. Please Pm me if this would be OK.

I've got a pdf only that I've downloaded some years ago from here. Not sure on the accuracy, but seems legit.

I'm not an expert on dxf files but I had a guy at work who uses these files open it up. It was just a basic picture of a chassis with no dimensions or hole sizes.

Is that what is intended?

I was under the impression that the files that Shad once published were much more detailed.

as I understand them, dxf files work in cad and you cna use the cad app to get any measurement off of them so long as you know how to use the app. More modern cad drawing's don't include the dimensions like you're used to seeing back from the drafting days, because automation often performs the work. CNC or the like. That doesn't mean the software won't allow you to get any and all dimensions you need.
