Early Dumble Bandmaster on Ebay!

Post by jelle »

Have you seen this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Dumble-Custom-Built ... dZViewItem

Sure looks like a build that was far away from being a 80's ODS.....

Looks like a AB763 with a tweaked PI....probably clean and loud sounding!

Came across a similar find last weekend at a swap meet; Dumbleized Bassman head & cab with Dumble service label on the back...he was asking $1200 for the pair...I passed.

I know Dave Green. I played sax next to him in High School jazz band. He's still in the area making shampoo and lotions in custom bottles for hotels and bed and breakfasts. Hell of a musician. We never played rock together but may have passed a joint back and forth a few times. That part of the story is ligit. I hung around with HAD too so if Dave did it's no surprise to me. That part is legit too. The patch on the top of the cap can looks identical to the ones on my chassis. That's a HAD amp.
