Hey TAG folks, I just finished a Tweedle Dee combo after the first head version I built turned out so nice. I wanted to reduce the number of input jacks to one and have a switch to go between channels, but also wanted to retain the Cascade feature I included in the first build. I wanted to avoid adding a relay and thought I had a clever solution by using a DPDT for the channel switch, with a jumper to dump the C1 signal into C2 when cascading, as shown below. Now that its built I get hum when I'm using C2, and it occurred to me that its because C1 is not grounded. So while in C2 I jumpered C1 to ground and sure enough the hum falls off.
So now I'm contemplating a solution and want to bounce it off you all before I dive in. I'd replace the DPDT with a 3PDT wired as below to solve the ground issue. Thoughts? Am I creating a new problem? Thanks for any input...
