I think you can get them on Ebay a lot cheaper.

thanks jabguit,

for posting the photo of the amp I built, it's a JM / Wonderland project.
I don't remember who gave me the address, they are very beautiful and I have used them in all the following projects:

TME SCI RN-113b Knob; with flange; plastic; Ø axis: 6.35mm; Ø15x18.1 mm ROHS
Manufacturer: SCI Manufacturer's symbol: RN-113B
purchased from: TME Italia S.R.L.

E-mail: tme@tme-italia.it.

It is very cheap: 1.1032 EUR each

That's where I got mine Franco! A whole box and just over 25 bucks. Nice knobs too and not for the outrageous money Mouser asks for them. (And I highly doubt both knobs are from different factories anyways.)

The part Martin posted is from TE Connectivity, a Swiss company with global presence. The inexpensive version of the knob is made by Shin Chin Industrial, China. https://www.tme.com/Document/ba2d147e0a ... 100%29.pdf

The Shin Chin part has very slightly different dimensions than the TE part, amongst other differences.

Now whether those differences matter, is left to the individual and his pocketbook.

Tank you Colossal,

The precision in the realization of the knobs is not a prerogative of those made by Shin Chin but they are not really to be thrown away, some knobs are not perfect but the percentage is low, just buy a few more.

I have those knobs from TME on an amp. They look and fit pretty well. They come protected in a box and all metal parts are protected by a plastic foil. I have not used the TE Connectivity knobs, but like I said satisfied so far with the ones from TME.

I did a WHOLE LOT of digging on this. I found some from lovemyswitches that are described as "not for perfectionists" but very very inexpensive ($0.90 each!). I got some and was completely happy. I did also find that a place called Intertex Electronics had them for about $2.57 each.

https://stompboxparts.com/knobs/vintage ... ob-medium/ is similar but with the triangle index... I just ordered 15 of them and they were all in perfect working order. They are definitely lighter and more plastic feeling than the ALCO knobs that they are a clone of, but not bad at all.
