That's why I said "merged somehow," to capture the contributions from both in one place.
I mean I could just create a new thread, sticky it and the first link is 'here's a link to two threads on UP' but that seems like a way to make it even more unclear/obfuscated :D

Ya never see much speculation about what's under the doghouse in a Dumble modified Fender. But dontcha suppose, based on what he did on the smaller amps that we have seen, that he probably raised the value of the filter caps?

Looking at the photo of the blue Xicon chicklet capacitors (in the original), I realize they are probably .047uf.
