Bluesmaster capacitors?

Post by neskor »

Hi.
Checking the pictures of an original Blusmaster and I see some differences between layout from here and real pictures.
I can see there are capacitors on the Level pot of OD, trimmer on mid pot, bypass capacitor on the bass pot and white capacitor on presence pot labeled 47K.
Any clue of the purpose and value of that white cap?

The white component marked 47k is a resistor that alters the effective value of the presence pot, and the trimmer on the mid pot is to reduce the effect of PAB.

On second thought, this trimmer looks like it lifts the mid pot in normal (non-PAB) mode.
