Dumble Presence Control

Post by Bombacaototal »

I have been looking into different amps and noticed that the order of the pot (variable resistor) and the capacitor of the presence control change from amp to amp. For example, Borderline Special had the cap, followed by the pot which would be followed by the ground. 102 is the other way around, the cap is the one close to the ground and the pot is between the cap and the LTPI.

I assume there is no difference between both? Or maybe there is a sonic difference? I wonder why he would change this in different amps
