I think I'll try 330pF or even 470pF in the amp I'm working on now and see how it turns out.

If my memory serves me well, the Fuchs ODS had 470p snubbers

We've dialed back the snubbers since we added an overdrive tone control on most of our models. Even the mods have internal tone trimmers, and the production stuff it's on the front panel.
We've tried various values through the years actually.
