Tweedle Dee build

Post by bepone »

Here is presented one build with great result, not so strictly following HADs tweaks of 5E3..

My friends build, with little bit help of me..

Build is around this pcb which i have made few years ago..pcb is accepting NFB to cathode of V2..

PT is DIY, OT is Piemme Elektra Italy, some Dralorics CF and SMA metal films here and there, Koa Speer 100k for anodes..First time used 22uF Bipolar caps for cathodes, like in Hi Fi, and Speaker crossovers

Thanks for your reply, the PCB looks good. I thought it might have been the commercially available PCB’s.

Mods/ drifted from HAD:

SS rectifier - with care that voltages are correct

Power tubes cathode - 300R
3P NFB switch
Pre PI Master volume (tried trainwreck MV but it was horrible)

Normal channel – coupling cap – 4,7nF

Cathode R - 2,7K
Anode R - 220K
Bypass cap - 0,68uF
Added HI /LO inputs

Bright channel – coupling cap 10nF
