VHT Fet Boost

I bought a VHT D-Boost recently, here is my review. Accurate take on the Fet Circuit of a Dumble. Uses a 2N4416A JFet and a LT1054 Voltage Converter. With a Power Supply of -12v I got 22v on top of the Drain Resistor (10k),16,5v at the Drain and 2,7 v at the Source. Lowering the Source Resistor from 4k7 to 2k2 makes 11v on the Drain with 2,45v at the Source. Perfect! My only complaint is the footswitch. The thread is a bit short for the Nut to be secure.Also, you need a 12v Source , 9v batteries are not an option (for me). It sounds really good with Strats and Tele , I even like a slight Boost for Gibson Style Guitars.
