Agreed, I know "Dumble" is a trademark. "Overdrive Special" also?

I don’t think so, unless something has changed recently. ODS is, owned by Fuchs, I believe.

"Overdrive Special" is not a registered trademark - theoretically you could've printed it on the chassis.
Anyways, what would be a proper way to do it myself? These decals at Amazon probably will fall of quick after some time. Any hints?

Yes, Overdrive Special is trademarked. As is Dumbleator and Overdrive Reverb. The trademarks are held by the Dumble estate.

I use a vinyl cutter to make a stencil. Then brush on clear coat to prevent bleeding, once dry I roll on white or black enamel for pinstriping, 2 coats and let dry between. Does a nice job as long as you don't go too small with the font.

Great stuff Erwin! Would love to hear a demo if you're willing to record some.
Also curious what transformers you used?

Hi Volker,

Transformers are:
PT: Tube-town Dumb50-pt
Choke: 4H-90mA , Fender replacement
OT: Fender Bassman Replacement with only a 4 Ohm secondary. Manufacturer code indicate it is from Magnetic Components.

Amp is alive! Really nice sounding, very much like the 2nd gen hybrid I built in the past.
Aggressive but no fuzz on lead ch. Nice chimey cleans.
Turning it a little up makes a nice sustain.
The PI is not set yet and I might rebias the Fet: not enough signal in comparison with the Nor input.
The slider switch for Rock-Jazz has that PAB hump, you can even put it in between and leave it there. I can see why customers asked for PAB on fsw, it is so obvious with these switches.
After some tube rolling the amp ended up with JJ Ecc803s on V1, Tung-Sol 12ax7 on v2, Tung-sol 12at7 on PI and Tung-sol 6L6GC-Str on powertubes.

Thanks! The snakeskin combo used to be the housing for my 2nd gen hybrid, that amp is in a headshell now.

Looks fantastic and I bet it sounds great as well! Any reason you went with a PI trimmer vs the 2nd Gens not having that function yet? I am contemplating doing the same when I get to my build.

Thanks Dan,
in previous builds, when the amp start to sustain, bloom and feedback, the trimmer is making the overtones tuned, like when a guitar is out of tune and you tune it it you hear before it is almost in tune a kind of wobble. Tune it and the wobble is gone, this is exactly the same.
