Hello Everyone! Been a minute but thought I would kick around an idea Ive been thinking on:
Dumbleator stompbox, powered by a 9v wall wart. Using a 555 timer as a DC boost circuit to generate the +300vDC needed to drive the tube:

Thinking it could fit into a 1590BB sized enclosure, that you would just sit on top of your amp and connect to the passive pre out/power in jacks on a typical dumble build. Could even use trimmer pots or 9mm chassis mounts for a lower profile.
Has anyone messed around with doing a tube d'lator build with this kind of topology?
