Ok. I'm starting to work on the BOM. My questions to you all is this:

1w Carbon Film for the circuit with 3-5w Metal Film for the PS?

Tone stack/Coupling Caps... what is the preferred brand/model?

Transformers? Make/Model...

Choke or Resistor?

I've used both 1/2 watt metal films and carbons and I honestly don't hear the difference.

Tone stack/Coupling Caps... what is the preferred brand/model?

I like the PS series Orange drops, although Mallory 150's sound about the same.

Transformers? Make/Model...

My output xformers are Mojotone Bassman type, I haven't tried others so I can't comment. The power xformers I've used have been Hammond, Marshall replacement and Fender replacement from AES. All seem to work fine. The Hammond is lower voltage for my 6V6 version.

Choke or Resistor?

Both, switchable.
