Does Dumble use real wood for circuit boards or is it just Formica? Hmmm...

It's that fake wood that people sometimes use on their dashboards. It's like formica, but it actually has a texture.. He also used Garrolite(FR-4 G10) so your build would technically be "Acurate" if you didn't opt for the brown wood-grain board.

That's kinda what I thought. I can just imagine HAD walking through Lowe's and seeing Pergo for the first time. ;)

I'd guess he bought a big sheet or two in the 80's and it was enough to get him through 250 amps! he only seems to use it on the preamp board of black chassis ODS's. Two Rock uses it too, they can probably tell you where they got it!
