FREE!!! Chassis drawing. Make buds with your local shop dude

Post by ampdork »

Free chassis drawing. Use it however one sees fit. Disregard my previous posting about fair use. It's FREE!
Build an amplifier or an amplifier empire from it.
It's all good.
Henry man figure it out. It ain't far off from a perfectly great chassis.
A few revisions here or there, some inset sides, a little welding, powder coat and silkscreen or slap a faceplate on it. Viola!
If Howard ever reads this forum well all I can say is I am sorry if all this hurts your heart. I think your likely a kinder dude then folks ever give you credit for and you have done me no harm so I do feel some pangs of guilt from time to time.
However the seas are high and the wind blowing hard and this bootleg vessel won't steer itself.
Enjoy the peoples chassis.
I mean enjoy the chassis people.

Yarrr!! .....damn no eyepatch smiley?

Try the file now. Remove the .mp3 tag and it ought to work.
Will also need a DXF reader or software that can open it. There are free dxf readers out there but I do not know what they are...
GIY..... google it yourself

I replaced the .mp3 with .dxf and tried to yank it open with Visio (which will open dxf files) but it failed. But this was the free trial version. I have the full paid for version on my other computer. I'll move it over there with the thumb drive after while and see what happens.

In Winblows: Right-click the link>save as. Rename it in the same operation to .dxf. It opened fine for me. You can get a free CAD prod here:

Thanks for the meticulous work Ampdork!

I saved the file as .dxf and it opened fine in Viso 2003 as dxf.

Thank you for your contribution.

Thanks for posting this, I can open it in Visio but it might as well be a JPEG - I can't manipulate any of the shapes. Whine Whine Whine

Could it be reposted, without any known file ext.??
or something silly like . aaa...................?

My browsers refuse to download it, and QT can't play it....??

BTW- any reason why a dxf-file can't be uploaded??

If QuickTime tries to play it, just do a Save Page As on that QT open and you should be able to save the file as is - remember to remove the .mp3 tag.
Wife: How many amps do you need?

This is who makes all of our chassis.. You can download there free CAD 3D software.. You can design the chassis and save in dsx. format...I believe!! You can submit the chassis in all differant metals powder coating and even silk screening.. It will even spit out a price and turn around time when your done..
