Looks really good. The chassis straps are a nice addition on the black one. Will you be making any more of these?

Hi.

I'm the new boy.
Getting ready for my third build, but first D-style.
Got parts coming from all over, including ceriatone and some local people here in New Zealand.
Shipping is a nightmare so i'm planning on making my own head box here.
Found these plans and i'm just wondering if there might be a template availble some where for precutting the tolex/leather to cover the box.

Cheers.

Those look nice Chris.
What amps have you built for them?

Great looking cabs Chris! I enjoyed flipping through your photobucket. You've built some really nice amps.

In this picture (the 7th post in this thread), the 2 empty cabinets have some sort of aluminum strip that goes across the amp over the cross bar and up the sides around where the chassis goes. I see this on a lot of amps. Where does one get these metal strips?

Thanks,
Don

it's standard 3/4x 1/8 aluminium bar. I get it on ebay here in the UK.

It’s a hardware store item here in the US.

Ok. I'll try Home Depot - the amplifier aisle. :D
