Left to right from the back with the spring contact on the bottom, it's sleve-shunt-tip.

Martin thanks, yes I have that same diagram, but what I am inquiring to is if the graphic that Tom used can be correlated to the standard graphic.

Ah, I see. The lugs look like they are in the right locations to me: As shown the middle lug is the shunt, left is tip, right is sleeve.

Ange, I don't know why but I used the 14b jack instead of the proper switched jack.
The drawing is now shown with the correct jacks.

Ok, very good Tom, thanks for the updated layout. Although I am going to score a minimixII soon, I did want to try this series/parallel config. Should have it up and running soon.

Hi Gents,
I also want to ask again about the fb-loop in this circuit (D´lator). I put the LFB in my amp on a switch because I dont like it in clean stage but good in OD. So whats now with this D`lator FX loop. Is an other switch a solution or isn´t necessary?

BTW: @Tom, nice layout. I builded up the original serial board, but I`ll complete it with the parallel winding and (very importend) the switches. :D

Hi Hans,
Not sure which switch you are referring to.

The bypass switch is useful to compare the amp with and without the loop or for troubleshooting when you are trying to figure out if a problem is with the loop and effects or in the amp.

The parallel switch is self explanatory, it switches between serial and parallel.

Good luck!
Tom

Hi Tom,
I meaned the feed back loop which is implemented in the FX circuit. 10M/0,22uF/10M. As I wrote I switch the LFB in the amp, but here is one too. The questione is: makes it sense to swicht this too.

No I don't switch my LNFB on my Dumbleator.

I want the loop to be pretty transparent.

The only problem I had with mine is I felt it was too dark originally so I lowered the value of the 220K grid stopper on the return.
It was attenuating the highs too much on mine.
I don't remember where I ended up but it sounds good.

But nothing is written in stone, you can experiment with the circuit to fit your needs.

Who knows? You might make an improvement we all would like. :D

Hi,
thats my aim :D

About the gridstopper I read somewhere before. I guess that it comes from your main problem of too bassy amp. I´m interested how mine will figure out. I´ll give you a reply.
