Editable Overdrive Special Faceplate

Post by boldaslove6789 »

Though everybody could use a faceplate that could be modified to their own specific needs, made this last night. Its not exact as far as fonts go but its certainly close enough IMO.

I attached an editable Visio file and the .PDF ready to be printed. The face plate is scaled to 19.25" x 2.5".

You can go to FedEx/Kinco's and have them print it on "Coregated Plastic" for about $15 a faceplate and they're great quality. You can hit'em with some clear coat if you want a bit more glossiness too.

Hope this helps.

For some reason the Viso file has the text jumbled up.

On 100% it seems pretty small.

Tom,

Sorry I didn't realize that the source text format would do that when used with a different PC that may not have these text. The outlined faceplate under the one that I made is a .CAD file made to scale that I used as a template. I don't know why its not to scale. The PDF should be fine though.

I got get rid of the "By Dumble" and left the "Overdrive Special", maybe that will be better use to those that want the logo but not the "Dumble" name.

If anybody wants the Faceplate tweaked to their needs just PM me and I'd be happy to change it to suit your needs

Here is that & the backplate also:

I tried to fix the Keep Source formatting for the text.

Also, This faceplate (the back plate) is for the Ceriatone chassis.

The front panel may fit on the CE chassis but I can't say for sure until I get a .CAD file.

Tom,

Does this one work in Visio :

Greg; great work! Thnx.

I tried to open it in Visio but; I have to set the scale at page properties for 1:1, when doing this the text is staying as in the old scale(very small!)

What kind of font do you use? It looks great. 'The pdf and visio show up different in font, I like to use the one in your pdf.

Yep, still jumbled in the .vsd file.

What font is it?

The words Overdrive Special show as Pristina on my PC.

Strange....everything seems to line up just fine when i open it up in Visio. I'm using Visio 2007.

For the Preamp, Overdrive and Power Amp - the font shows Ariel.
For the FET and NOR - the font shows Agency FB.
For the Overdrive Special by Dumble - the font shows Pristina.
Rock, Bright, Mid and Jazz - DillenialUPC
Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, Level, Ratio, Master, Presence - Agency FB
