What are plate and slope resistors and where are they located on the circuit diagram.

The plate R's are self explanatory, also called plate load resistors, right? The slope resistor is a term used for the one in the tone circuit i.e. the 56k commonly seen in a Fender or it's derivitives[sp]. I hope this helps.

I gonna try to understand what do the sound of Dumble amp, and which differences have theses amps
(sorry for my english, but, i'm french and I don't speak or write english often)
I'm looking for all the Dumble schematics
If you know where I can find them.....and too for all shematics of amps like Riveira, Soldano , Vht, etc all the "news" amps
Thanks

Resistor Values in Preamp?

Post by evan »

Surely "4m7" should be 470k and "22m" should be 220k...?

Evan,

No, you are incorrect. The correct values are on the schem.
Wife: How many amps do you need?

Higain:

You need to ground the cathodes on the 6L6s in the ODS non HRM scheme. I didn't check the others.

The Non HRM schematic, is that a 50watt version?

Appears to only have 2 6L6's.

Just uploaded the corrected versions. Thanks for pointing out the mistakes! The schematics show 50 Watt versions, but lists alternative values in blue for 100Watt setups.

[EDIT] Uploaded the Relay circuit and Schematic Template

You definately want to remove the OD master bright cap you show on the HRM schematic....

Also, if using the 50 watt schematic presence circuit, I believe you would want to use something lower than a 1uf. Maybe .47uf or .68uf? The 1k and 2K in parallel will give a much different knee frequency than the 390ohm and 2K in the 100 watter.....
