I think the most interesting part is the od.Could that be the megaplex?

But it's hard-wired... There is no PAB as we know it.

Martin with pab off both mid and bass pots are grounded through the relay.
With pab on the trimer is parallel with the 22m resistor for a milder bluesmaster boost. This has been discussed in the past as a more strat friendly pab.

That makes sense. What about the strange R/J switch wiring? Has that been seen previously too?

I think it has been discussed in a thread about L.Carlton's amp.
The conclusion was that the pab relay also lifts the jazz cap from ground for a more useful sound when in jazz mode with pab on.

Charlie, thanks for the super sweet shots!

Some stuff I notice:

-EL34, 50W (what kind of OT me thinks?)
-Has mains voltage selector switch.
-PS dropping string: 3K-->15K-->10K
-HRM trimmers: treble about 30% up, mids and bass set to about 60% up.
-Main filter cap bank: 50uF (two 100uF in series)
-5nF Jazz/Rock cap goes to PAB relay instead of ground.
-All 715P in the PI.
-100K feedback resistor to 8R tap.
-Presence pot is 50K//47K for approx. 25K total.
-No OD trimmer.
-150K OD2 grid resistor.
-FX loop jacks are isolated from chassis (like #177 and #183).
-Must've been one of the last amps with the wooden-sided chassis?

About the PAB switching...correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure this is what we're seeing:

Seconded, and thanks to UHOP for the schematic, too.

This thread needs to be moved to the D files section.

Very informative thread. I may have to tweak the 50w bluesmaster. I have a one button foot switch that engages PAB + OD always together. This looks like a very tweakable and workable alternative to that.

Thanks again, Charlie!
