My cabinet

Post by sergio »

this is the cabinet of my amplifier, it is not complete because they lack the corners, and the chassies must be finished.

I'm waiting other material and Trafo.

Way to go Sergio. Correct side up too! :)

V1 is a little high - but might be OK - some amps sound great there, others sound better at 190v. Ditto for V2 it's probably good but might sound even better a little bit lower. Are you using a 150K resistor to ground at B+5 (FET simulation resistor)? If not, add one. If you are try 120K or even 100K to listen to the difference. You could also adjust the resistor between B+3 and B+4 - I like 22k but have used 27K in the past. I like 2k2 between B+4 and B+5.
The other tube's voltages look great.
