Not sure what kind of paint that guy uses as I have heard of guys just removing the Dumble part.
So it may not be powder coat but rather solvent based which acetone or other high grade solvent should be able to take off.

Do your perimeter wiring, sides and back, before you put tube sockets in.
Relay boards and power supply are much easier before control installation.
In other words, resist the impulse to do mechanical install immediately. Think the process through. There's a lot of small stuff that goes in small spaces.
Worth the effort.
