It's in the 4th generation now. It now has a single tube reverb and a Dumbleator plus it's an HRM. It sounds pretty damn good.Make wrote:Hey good ideahave you finished it? how does it sound?

Do you perhaps have any soundclips of the Fender into the OD?
Very curious about that.

Pay attention.... the Fender side doesn't drive the OD, the Dumble side does.Ed de Jager wrote:Do you perhaps have any soundclips of the Fender into the OD?

Re: 3 Channel with reverb schematic
Hello, I am a confirmed AB763 guy about to gut a late 70's Fender 30 to do my first D-clone type build and found your schematic and layout which is exactly what I want to do. Psychologically I just can't give up that classic Fender clean, also I like the idea of having completely independant channels when I step on a footswitch. Thanks for posting this.
I was wondering what your reason was to go to the one tube reverb instead of the two tube circuit like in your schematic- was it for the sound or did you need to liberate a tube for some other purpose? I've used the D-style one tube reverb circuit on a bunch of Fender style builds with great success, but figure as long as I have the tube real estate I might as well use the two tubes. Any opinions?
Any suggestions/advice before I jump into this sort of build?
Thanks, Jumpiinjeff

This looks really cool, thanks for sharing the schematic. I've got a ton of NOS Fender 2-6L6 power transformers so I'm always looking for designs that could use what I've got.
Do you have any build photos or layouts that you would be willing to share?
Thanks for your contributions

Re: 3 Channel with reverb schematic
I see that your Fender side's first triode's grid floats when in Dumble mode ... unless you moved that 1M resistor from the jack area.
I'd suggest you consider that as a reliability move.
Hope this helps!
