Looking to build a Weber Browner adjuster. They have been discontinued and no longer made. Anyone want to collaborate on drawing up some plans ? I am intersted in the Browner specific unit and not just a variac or the bucking transformer method for the following reasons.
Changing the the voltage in steps from 120v to 105v in steps not a dial.
The digital readout without having to pull out a meter each time.
Great unit for vintage amps and vintage test equipment power without having to consider what your wall voltage is in everyplace with the digital readout and the stepped switch. I don't know have many times a variac dial has been bumped by accident.
Too bad a great item is no longer made.
