Any good midrange pot wiring ideas?

Post by dehughes »

As it stands now, the midrange pot on my AC30 creation is basically acting like a 25k resistor in place of what is normally a 10k fixed resistor on the bass pot (see the AC30 schematic...). So, I wager that there is something cooler I could do with it (maybe like the %13 RSA 31?) that would let me keep the AC30 voice but provide some midrange variation too. Right now, the pot mainly stays at just shy of halfway (about 10k), as that's the typical AC30 value....and it sounds pretty good to me.

Any ideas? I'm a definite newbie when it comes to tone stack variations....especially pot wiring options....and I'd like to make the most of this "extra" pot. :)

Thanks!
