Post by stretch2011 »

A local business.is going out and he does organ repair on the side. Well he brought up these 2 amps and said $20 a piece for them. No tube
Gps but one is a dual rectifier 4 6l6 with wait for it wait for it.... 2x .0022 black black beauty Spragues and the other is a 2 6l6 with wait for it wait for it.... 2x bumblebees with the color code red red red white Brown blue. Both amps have blue .1 400v that says molded on them. Also all carbon comps point to point With no boards, trannies included.

Nice score and worth having for sure. :)

I have a shelf full of other guy's old amps they brought over because they got tired of looking at them or not working on amps anymore.

I think I could be classified as a parts hoarder.

Well at least my wife thinks so.

If it's useful it's not hoarding!

I am not a hoarder (in my mind) but I think there may be an intervention if the amp cave gets any more clutterred.
Avoid deals that show up on a pallet - sage advice.

Yeah, why is it that women seem to like the "homeless person squatting in my car" look? I can't even bear to look into my wife and daughter's cars, let alone ride in them.

Thats sweet. I'm allways on the lookout for some old organs. Scour your local craigslist for the wurlitzer model 4100. There is a 6L6 amp in it and 9 LP GE12AX7's.
