Hi Tom
Been wondering about the Kelley non reverb models.
Can you remember if there were any major differences in the preamp compared to the reverb models?

Did it have two or three preamp valves? Wondered if it still had four stages before the cathodyne inverter or only three.

Be interesting to see if there are any schematics for them floating about out there.
Cheers

The NR model is more or less a Ampeg with 6V6 instead of 7868 tubes,
And some small tweaks.

Personally I find the reverb models more interesting

Thanks oj,
looking at the ampeg schematic I can see where the design came from!
I think the reverb model would be more interesting too😀

Cheers
Shane.

3 stages then the PI. I gave a verbal description of it on pg 2, based on visually tracing the non-reverb pics.
I totally noticed the Ampeg schematic a while back and had an aha moment. I played the SB-12 at a jam and it ruled, so I came home, looked it up, and aha...

Hello Gents. I would like to build a 2-6V6 non-reverb version of this amp. Anyone have a Schematic that would help? I have the original Kelley one and the Ampeg. Anyone draw one they would like to share?

You could try the one I posted on the first page... It must be relatively free of errors but let me know if you see anything out of whack.
