I avoided using vactrols with my build... but I also designed my own PCB's with relays.

Simple switching, no bleed from channels, cost, no need to paint the vactrols with nail polish lol, nail polish is expensive you know and with the relays it's pretty easy to implement MIDI with soft touch momentary switches, which I have been thinking about doing with mine eventually.professormudd wrote: ↑Fri Dec 02, 2022 11:43 pmThose look very nice. I like to design things so that parts are easily available and not obsolete, and have a long term supply chain if that makes sense. even looking at our faithful impedance selector that is somewhat of a hard commodity to come by these days is a good example
