Here's the guts of an old P.O.S. consumer product, early 60's may be.
the pre is all "zero bias" 12ax7's, and the the amp is all ceramic caps, with
the exception of the poly's off the plates of the first gain stages.
A little 'quality' touch. What I found most interesting is how the signal path
was dressed. You can see the shielded leads from the inputs of the unit to
the first gain stage's. After this the signal carrying leads to the volume pots
are tightly twisted with pots individual ground wire and attached to the wiper.

Re: dress observations
I'm kind of surprised that they used shielded cable at all!
Is the cable original to the amp?
Do you know the brand and purpose of the amp?

The solder on shielded looks original, Its a Bell Carillion 23A.

I'll do that if I want to shunt just a tad of high end, or if the amp is prone to parasitic's in that section. After this the signal carrying leads to the volume pots
are tightly twisted
That is tightly wrap 2 unsheilded wires, the signal and ground.
Probably not their purpose, you see that in a lot of old equipment. Was 'common knowledge' back in the day.
it really is a journey, and you just cant farm out the battle wounds
Re: dress observations
See a lot of Fender Silverfaces with those pigtails.
