12DF7, lo-noise 12AX7
I just ran across this item, anyone have any experience/opinion on this tube? Sounds like an option for V1A position.

haven't heard one, looks like the design centers and plate dissipations are a
tad less. Like with other tube choices the bandwidth of the device really has
a profound effect upon application choice. 12AX7 has high gain but it really
has a very narrow bandwidth, ratty sounding things, perfect match for electric guitar.
I bet 12df7 have a slightly more open sound, between a 12ay7 and 12ax7.

12AD7, 12DF7,12DM7,12DT7, Are all Special quality low noise/low microphonic versions , some are hard to find, rare and expensive.. others go by industrial numbers.
