Well, according to the calculator here: http://www.muzique.com/schem/filter.htm as a high pass filter the stock values have a corner freq of 144.8 hz.
I'm going to try raising the resistance into the 1 meg vicinity - see if bass response improves. Im guessing I will gain a little unwanted headroom too. Not sure.

Can you confirm there's no cathode resistor on V1?

Sorry about the crappy cell pic... V1- The carbon film is the 220k from pin 2 to ground, next to it you might be able to make out pin 3 tied to the chassis. The 2K2 carbon comp is V2B cathode to ground bypassed with the .022 next to it.

Ok, tried a 1 meg and it surely added more on the lows - to the point of getting a lil muddy to my ears. But the switch did make the 220k sound anemic. Soooo, I think I'll split the dif and let this thread die again.

I will say these are decent amps, definitely budget builds, but worth picking up for next to nothing (I think).
