Cameron Marshall Mods

Post by andy_wreck_fan »

Hey peps,I've been trying to find some info on mods Mark Cameron is doing on Marshalls.

I can name them but cant find any layout or schematic.

Any1 here ever did sth like that?

Aldrich mod is what I need, bass mod and boost mod.
But all info is great.

Any other layout/schematic that other great builders are doing are awesome too, extra awesome if they're this type of modern high gain mod.

Ask Mark Cameron why he didn't post schematics and layouts for all to see and copy.

this is cloning forum, and all we do is for joy right?

thats why Im asking, not looking to make any profit, just to mod my own amp for my own fun.

it doesn not have to be aldrich mod from cameron,i see a lodas of ppl with their own mods and stuff, cant harm to ask for few mods right?

bas boost, mid cut, boost, what so bad in asking for those too?

Actually it's funny seeing this post because not too long ago i met him at a electronics store and we talked and he mentioned thatone of the the hard parts about making a living at this was people stealing his designs ! Not saying anything about that either way, just mentioning it.

The Metroamp forum, if it's not gone. I worry. I am scared to look.

Let me know, and lie to me if it's gone, please.

Cameron Modded Marshall.... I had one in the shop to add an effect loop to. No way could it be done, so I snuck in a patch jack and sold customer an external loop to plug into it . I think he's not in any danger of being ripped off....unless you have a ton of time and patience to figure this stuff out. Yes, it was a decent sounding amp. No I didn't bother measuring anything. I got out as quickly as I could. I've heard and played Jackson and Jose modded stuff easily as good sounding, that wasn't buried in whatever that is inside this amp. The customer had no idea, would never send it back to Mark (never counted on it being returned if he did), so I did the FX loop jack addition for him. [/b]

It's not Rustoleum, it's the spray on version of Glyptal insulating varnish. I wish the spray was available when I was race prepping engine blocks.
