Hi All. Judging from the pics on the web, does this look about right to you?

LOL. If this is not a joke I will be severely disappointed. The amp is a Super Reverb with trivial mods... That'll be $3k, please.

I have actually seen a few Cow Tippers with a couple extra features like built in Blu-Ray player or Easy-Bake Oven, but that was just custom for some big name stars...

But seriously, thanks to the OP for studying the pics. The mods do seem pretty inconsequential, but it's still interesting compare.

The mighty Bruno Cowtippers in all of their glory....

Certainly not the cleanest builds out there in the boutique world.

Easy-Bake Oven
wow!

I've been adding a lot of extras to my personal amp - never occurred to me to have cookies on demand!

I've heard they are straight ab763 circuits. Judging from the pics that's the way it looks.

I tried raising the 4k7 R in the bias string to two 4k7s (in my super) and it does produce less gain and a softer attack.

This has got to be the work of someone trying to tarnish the reputation of these amps. It just makes no sense. Or maybe they were modded by that European guy who does the crazy Marshall mods?

Somebody mentioned once that these were prototypes.

I don't know and I don't mean to disparage Bruno.

But even if they were prototypes, you would think that he would have fixed them up a bit before selling them.

Probably not, the signal wire itself is coiled. It is not a signal wire with a ground wire wrapped around it.

Why coil it?
