Just found this online thought I would share. Lots of cool schematics for those old tubes we never throw out.
Seems the warning comes up on this if you try to view it?

Re: 1947 Amp Diagrams
They have an AC/DC amp in there!!! How did they know what Angus was going to sound like?
I Think I Think Too Much !
Re: 1947 Amp Diagrams
Interesting that the 3 tube 3 watt has raised heaters!

Re: 1947 Amp Diagrams
There is some cool stuff in there for sure
Re: 1947 Amp Diagrams
Just as a disclaimer, any tube amps that do not have a power transformer, i.e., they are wired directly to house current, are not safe to use as the chassis can become part of the energized circuit.
They can still be built, but must use a 1:1 isolation transformer.

Some of those circuits have been tempting me for a while now.
The book is buried deep in Pete Millet's tubebooks.org
He and everyone who helped him deserves credit for "Preserving the Knowledge of the Ancients".
I agree with him that this type of information belongs in the public domain, especially as the internet paradoxically increases our isolation.
In the old days, the elders, like my Grandpa who taught squadies how to repair tube gear under fire, would have passed the knowledge along personally.
We have to keep on passing it along however we can.
Best, tony

Love this stuff, thanks.
BTW any of you still sticking a horn in your ear there's a schematic for a 3 tube hearing aid amplifier.
