Gar Gillies of Garnet Amplifiers passes Dec 23

Canadian amp pioneer Garnet Gillies was taken by cancer at the age
of 86 . His amplifiers were used most notably in the sixties and early 70's
by the Guess Who. A true gentleman who will be missed.

That's too bad. He was a very creative guy, of the old school but never got in a rut design-wise. And he knew how to build stuff to last too.
