Hi all,
made a video of an old project of mine, a subminiature JCM800 with russian triodes and a Max1771 SMPS instead of the OT.
This is in fact a comparison between the PC speakers in the small cab and a 12" celestion greenback.
Hope you like

And the small Vibratone Amplifier:

Re: Subminiature tube amplifier
I've found a good quantity of little speakers I've been playing with in my miny portable Amps: ) 3-3.5" at 98db is plenty loud especially with a paper cone gives a warm tonality to my.solid state Amps.
Re: Subminiature tube amplifier
Interesting, would you mind sharing where you get these? Or from which brand?
I'm using low efficiency speakers, because I couldn't find anything that small with efficiency higher than 80 db.

I made a lot of woodworking recently, and finally finished some cabs?heads. Now I can rest and build new stuff.
Cheers,
Thomas
