Monkeymatic NDS

Post by xtian »

New build in progress: Monkeymatic NDS (no-drive special) combo.

I stripped the Tweeked D'Lite schematic to just the clean channel, and I imagine it will make a great pedal platform, using a reclaimed Yamaha 12" combo cabinet, with a custom chassis 19x8x2. It will have a Celestion V-Type speaker and a pair of EL34s, using the Shumacher 40watt OT from my bud at the flea market, and a new Fender Vibrolux PT.

Layout is always an interesting puzzle to me. This one has the preamp tubes in the middle of the board, local filter nodes, and a run-thru ground buss. I'm pleased that there's just a single jumper on the board, connecting two turrets.

It all looks good but for a OT secondary safty load resistor .

And here's my drilled up chassis...the new, Ikea "flat pack" model.
