Mojo sent me 250KL pots when I thought I ordered 250KA pots. It takes a bit of work to sort out the part numbers in their catalog and I haven't ordered any 250KA pots from them yet because I'm trying to make sure I get the ones that will match the shank and shaft of the other ones I bought from them... These part numbers will hopefully make that an easier prices. Thanks!

Also, I've had a lot of trouble with getting the CTS pots with the 3/8" long shank, recently. I swear that was the standard with the CE Distribution pots until this last batch I ordered... Now it seems everything they are selling has a 1/4" long shank. !*#@&$(-_.... MoJo has then with a 5/16" shank which is marginal for a wooden faceplate. I'm still looking for a reliable vendor for the longer shank pots that doesn't ask $7 or $8 per pot.

I've had trouble too with CED and Mojotone with pots no marking, some are plastic shaft from CED. The Switchcraft jacks were very corroded looking but I think those funky jacks were from CED.

I would like CTS dual pots 250kL for PPIMV and also more values with P/P switches on the back.

It isn't easy doing a batch order but maybe the only think to do.

I got in on Jelle's 1MA 30% taper order but those only work for non faceplate amps or very thin plates. Nice pots though, glad I leaned out my order on those since I still have most of them left.

If I can figure out the protocol, I am considering ordering some 30% taper Audio pots with the 3/8" long x 3/8" diameter shank... not sure what the minimum order will be but I'd sure like to get some in all the standard Wreck sizes. Has anyone had any experience with a direct order that would be willing to share some info?

yeah, I've been on a wild goose chase all night just trying to find somebody who has these in stock... or even order them for me. The prices are all over the map but so are the specifications so maybe that makes sense.

I have lots of 30% 1MA CTS pots from a group buy that Jelle Welagen ran about a year ago. The shaft extension is 3/8 but the threaded shank length is only 1/4, not 3/8. Too bad, as I don't really need anywhere near as many as I have.

Are you sure you want 30% for a Wreck? At least on the vol pot? I found even 10% comes up real fast so 30% might be unmanageable. Maybe OK at 30% on the bass or treble pots though?

Good thoughts David, and as always, good to see you around and adding to the equation...

10% (or maybe 5%) for the volume control, then maybe 30% for the bass would be appropriate. Do you think 30% would also work well for the treble control as well?
