What would you see inside that would make it worth $7000?

With Paul's ego there must be a PRS signature inside the chassis worth $6k. :D

 Mark

Personally, I prefer Mayer's other tones (Fender and Dumble).

1)I doubt JM paid 7K for it. PRS is getting gobs of publicity.
2)If I thought I could sell an amp for 7K, I'd quit my day job.
3)I have no idea where I went wrong and missed this train.

At least use something better than snap in nuts for the chassis for that price. I hate those -- they always pop out.

Amen!

If that really is the tone JM is looking for, then it is true that his taste has changed... enough to put him out of the realm of my playlists. I will just have to stick to his older stuff. I am still holding out that he has just sold out. :(

Q&A about this amp and a half blurry gut shot. Still crazy price for what it is, and for me just average sounding

So $7K gets you a circuit board amp.
