1. what is the best fx loop kit ?
i'd like to install it into a high gain marshall type amp.
considering the kits are not no expensive, i don't care for the money.
let me know your opinion.
2. also one thing more... solid state vs. tube fx loop.
for the high gain application, which is better?
someone mentions tube mixing stage introduces even order harmonics.
but based on my dumblator type device experience, it can add some overdrive feel into the already high gain sound.
so... i am hesitating which should i choose.
best fx loop kit ??

Either will be fine if designed properly. London Power makes a very nice transparent tube loop kit. There are some nice solid state ones out there too.
I am of the school that thinks it's silly to insist your effects loop be "pure all tube" when the first and last things it likely hits inside the effects in the loop is an op-amp.
Unless you WANT your tube loop to color the sound of course (Dumblator) then that's a different story.
