Power Transformer Orientation

Post by FourT6and2 »

Does it matter which way you mount the Power Transformer? i.e. primaries facing the front and secondaries the rear, or the other way around? Amp is a typical Marshall-style circuit, a'la JMP or JCM800, with a lay down PT. I know how the PT and OT are mounted in relation to each other matters.

The PT I will be using is a Marstran (made by Heyboer) 1202-55 JTM45-style.
