Buying an amp from the UK.
Thinking about buying a vintage Marshall from the UK, would i have to change out the power transformer
Re: Buying an amp from the UK.
You can buy an external 115 to 230 V power transformer.

A lot (if not all) old Marshalls have a voltage selector on the back. Ask the seller. I would get pics.

If this is (supposedly) a 60s model, are you aware of Music Ground / Harrison faking industry?
There are so many out there that any 'holy grail' Marshall should be considered suspect.

Which turned regular Marshalls into more valuable models, done so well that it takes close inspection by an expert to identify fake from genuine.
Even amps that Marshall have (apparently) certified as genuine have been (apparently) shown to be fake.
