Basler Transformers

Post by bal704 »

Anybody have experience with Basler transformers? They appear to be an old company that's still around. I found these on ebay:

Made in Mexico.

Anybody have experience with these?

No experience with it, but at that price, I'd be willing to find out. I don't need a project at the moment, or I'd buy a couple. I see there is a 2.2K 80W model and a PT that puts out 6.3v@6.5A (a whopper?) but HT at 350V unknownMA might make it a paper weight. Price makes them all worth trying. I think it's a nice find, particularly if you aren't too picky about what you build!

I'm thinking these are hi-fi, so a 40W OT is probably good for 50W in a guitar amp.

I've got the PT covered, so I just bought one of the OT's for a future build.
