I like high torque potentiometers.
Turning the tube amp pots heavier than turning them lightly makes me feel more good.
I like Alpha's 24mm pot. It's reliable at an affordable price and is readily available in my location.
I am planning to make a new amp recently, but it seems that I need to use a part of a 16mm pot(1/4W) due to the many of pots compared to the panel size.
However, I did not find a product with a high torque option in the 16mm pot.
So I have two questions.
1. Is there a 16mm pots with a high torque option? I want to know the model number.
2. Can I use a 1 / 4W potentiometer for full tube amplifiers? Or is there a 1 / 2W product among 16mm potentiometers? (Of course with the high torque option)
Waiting your answer. Thanks.
