Stereo power amp with mono preamp Gibson like

Well, I'm back at building a single chassis stereo amp.
Plan is one of 10thtx 's designs with maybe a fet for cathode follower and maybe use some of the 12AV7 s
I bought. I have a couple of the old Gibson amps incluging a GA79 rvt and a GA79 RV no tremolo. They both sound good the Rvt sounds better. I want a little more percussive power so was considering a stiffer power supply with diode rectification and bigger iron. Going to include VVR for mental health and an effects loop dual mono out and stereo input.

I have built stereo amps before with SE outputs and twin preamps. That Dual Tweed Champ /Kalamazoo gets lots of oohs and ahhs but really doesn't do much clean .

I'm looking for suggestions and if my plan seems reasonable. The donor iron is coming from a Motorola stereo console amplifier with 4xEL84 , 3x 12au7, and a 5U4 recto.

Alternately I could go 4x 6V6 with the higher voltages from the SS recto with more low mids.
