I am working on a Mesa .22 caliber and they have 6 preamp gain stages on one 30uf power supply node! How much cheaper can you get?
The curcuit board in this amp is burning up from all the tubes on it just like so many of the crappy Crate amps do!
How do they get away with this?

Totally no excuse for that considering what Mesa charges for their amps!

People keep buying them, just like all the other cheap crap in the world. What bothers me most is the lack of integrity; foisting a knowingly subpar product off on the public. It amounts to a planned failure, but you're taking people's money at full price.

They won't get away with it for long.
As soon as that 30uF cap starts to age and its ESR goes up a bit, then the amp will motorboat like crazy.
Totally incompetent and thoroughly unprofessional design, also a failure by whomever should have been doing the design review before passing to production.

The nearest dealer for Mesa Boogie for me is Grand Forks ND 70 miles away and when they die us Fargo ND/Moorhead MN amp repair guys send them packing probably all the way to Savage Audio 270 miles away.
You can do more harm trying to fix a Boogie then it's worth finding the main problem.
