Has anyone tried the Texas tea mod in a top boost preamp?

Is that a more oily sounding mod? 😊

Is this a mod by Dan Torres?

So it's like the old boost on the Mesa Boogies that lifts the eq, but this one can be regulated.

Looks like bypassed the EQ insertion loss, not really like a lift on the tail midrange resistor. And no mid pot in that circuit either. How does it sound? It seems like it could get wooly sounding. I don’t have a full Dumble build but have played around with the .002 bypass cap for eq and it sounded kind of muddy to me. .01 would create even more of that low mid sound.
