I like it! Especially the VU meter. What is it measuring?
There is a company called Ashdown amps that also installs meters on the front of there bass amps.
I really like the VU meter look!!

The meter is just tied to the OT secondary, with a 5K resistor to mitigate some voltage. I have modded four of these amps so far, and three of the VU meters were DOA! One works, though, and is v cool.

First try. Finger joints. Mucho time for setup and creation of table saw jig, plus investment in new blades and mitre gauge. Results: Lots of time required to cut joints, almost square box, some gaps, lots of cursing, and vinyl hides everything.

Second try. Butt joints. Zero time setup. Two boxes cut and finished in under an hour. Nicely square, no gaps, no cursing, vinyl hides everything.

Good job. Some folks will fix it until it's really broken. That box will outlive you unless it's run over by a truck or dropped from a (moderately) tall building.

Nice simple circuit with a lot of character - I wouldn't have guessed correctly. Sounds like it mates up nicely with the Wheelhouse speaker. I was thinking about trying the Wheelhouse for a light weight combo.
